Sustainable Development | France achieves its greenhouse gas emissions targets according to a first estimate The Interprofessional Technical Center for the Study of Atmospheric Pollution (CITEPA) publishes an estimate of France's greenhouse gas emissions for 2021. According to this estimate, French emissions in 2021 are 418 Mt CO2e (excluding the land sector and forests). These results correspond to the trajectory provided for by the National Low-Carbon Strategy. CITEPA also publishes consolidated emissions figures for 2020.
