With its new range of SportsBay LED lighting, Sylvania illuminates sports fields

In these multidisciplinary structures accessible all year round, over wide ranges of time, lighting must meet a dual challenge: ensuring users can practice their activity in the best conditions and guaranteeing project leaders (local authorities, sports associations …) to reconcile energy efficiency and sustainability. It is in this sense that Sylvania presents its new range of SportsBay LED lighting.

Manufactured in France in the Sylvania Group factory in Saint Etienne, SportsBay is ideal for meeting the difficult conditions to which lighting fixtures are subjected in gymnasiums and multi-sports halls. Very robust thanks to its sheet steel body and its polycarbonate optics, it has excellent impact resistance (IK10). Certified for ball and balloon impacts according to the VDE 0710-13 standard, it therefore presents no risk of wear or damage during throws of varying heights, with varying speeds.

Delivering a luminous flux of 12.800 or 18.400 lm, SportsBay has high luminous efficiency (up to 158 lm/W) which makes it particularly suitable for this type of application which requires powerful lighting, or as a replacement for traditional technologies .

Offered in neutral white (4000 K) and in two sizes (1200 and 1500 mm), with an extra-wide beam angle (117°), this LED luminaire guarantees a homogeneous color temperature (SDCM<3). Enough to provide an optimal gaming universe to users, without dazzling them!

Surface-mounted or suspended thanks to 3-meter cables and tilt brackets, SportsBay offers easy and flexible mounting to optimally place the luminaires in order to avoid shadowed areas and ensure good uniformity on all terrain, regardless of the type of installation. Versatile, it is available in standard ON/OFF version, dual ignition, DALI (dimmable solution, push button compatible) and can be connected to the Linect universal connection system^® to meet all types of needs and configurations.

Beyond the advantages of using LEDs which limits maintenance interventions, SportsBay finally benefits from a lifespan of 76.000 hours (L80B20) and a 5-year warranty, a significant asset for sports lighting reliable in the long term.
