The Forum's conferences will focus on the collective innovation trajectory of the concrete sector to decarbonize materials, processes, products, technologies, applications and materials.
A program on the theme “Decarbonization in progress in the concrete sector”
April 24 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Inaugural conference The challenges of decarbonization for the concrete sector, presented by Florent Dubois, director of real estate and sustainable construction, NEXITY and author of the book Ecological concrete and sustainable construction.
The concrete sector as an actor of a carbon-free society: construction needs in the face of national carbon objectives (construction/development strategies and roadmaps, France on the front line of global warming) and the transition already initiated by the sector.
The major decarbonization levers and solutions for the concrete sector: roadmap for decarbonization of the cement-concrete sector. Beyond cement: how to mobilize the entire chain to achieve carbon neutrality?
Panorama of innovations and avenues for reflection: how concrete and construction systems can be transformed thanks to bio/geosourced materials, 3D printing processes, AI and the success of the sector's transition to the new gives ecological.

- Yannis Martin, sales director or Stéphanie Bondoux, certification and approval director, HOFFMANN GREEN
- Patrick Montagné, concrete, cement and export activity director, MAPEI France
- François Redron, general director, CIMBéton
- John-Erik Reiersen, CEO, BETONG NORGE
Reducing the carbon footprint of concrete is above all a joint effort. And all the players in this sector of activity are able to make their contribution. From the cement manufacturer to the admixture manufacturer, including suppliers of raw materials and secondary constituents. But what are the different vectors that make it possible to act on this decarbonization of concrete? What are the concrete actions of cement manufacturers? What about alternative components? What is the role of adjuvantation? Does decarbonization have an influence on the implementation of concrete, on its setting, on its increase in strength, on its performance? And how are things going elsewhere?
April 25 14 p.m. – 15:30 p.m.: Round table Optimized logistics: a real lever for decarbonization, moderated by Pascal Petit-Jean, general secretary, SEIMAT
Speakers
- Thomas Bonvalot, LEICA Géosystem: presentation of guidance equipment on slipform paving machines for concrete
- Ivan Martinsanz, head of PUTZMEISTER France: presentation of the silent iOntron Hybrid piston pump P 730 TE with electric motor, which uses the construction site's electrical network to operate
- A SCHWING STETTER representative: presentation of the AM 10 EDrive router with hybrid drive
- A representative of the AVRIL Group: presentation of Oleo100, one of the rare alternatives to fossil fuels capable of offering autonomy comparable to that of diesel, turnkey and without major changes within the fleets.
Presentation of the Archipel project, aimed at relieving congestion on the roads surrounding the site from around 40.000 rotations of mixer trucks per year by producing ready-mixed concrete directly on site and supplying the lowest carbon concrete on the Strasbourg market.
April 26 10 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.: Round table: Off-site concrete construction, moderated by Frédéric Gluzicki, editorial director, AC Presse.
Speakers
- Céline Beaujolin, general delegate, Off-site France Sector
- Mickaël Carvalho, director, Prega Normandie, GA Smart Building subsidiary
- Jacques Manzoni, general director, FIB
- Lionel Morenval, CEO and founder, MUANCE
What if off-site construction was the royal road to industrializing the building sector in France. It seems to offer design quality, costs and reduced deadlines. But what do we mean today by “off-site construction”? What are the fundamental differences with what has been called “prefabrication” for over a century? What are the factors that could accelerate the use of this construction technology in buildings? Are there also brakes? Is off-site concrete construction a good response to the decarbonization of the building sector and the requirements of RE2020?
April 26 14 p.m. – 15:30 p.m.: Round table: 3D printing in the service of decarbonization, moderated by Laure Regnaud, director of the École Française du Béton.
Speakers
- Dominique Corvez, CEO, XtreeE
- Céline Florence, Head of Concrete Engineering Chair, ESTP
- Olivier Martinage, 3D manager Lithosys Vicat Sysnergie
- Nicolas Roussel, president and research director, RILEM
The advantages of 3D printing in concrete for decarbonization in construction: current limits and constraints of the innovative process, progress of R&D, training of future construction players in innovations such as 3D.
