Kebony participates in the Carrefour International du Bois 2024

This unique meeting in Europe, organized by the FIBOIS Pays de la Loire inter-professional association, was created in 1992 with the aim of providing companies in the wood industry with a place to present their products and know-how. Organized every two years in Nantes, by professionals and for professionals, this show brings together international exhibitors and visitors over three days.

In recent years, the use of wood has become widely used in all sectors of activity and areas of daily life, due to widespread awareness of its benefits in the essential energy transition. This explains, among other things, the great success of the previous Carrefour du Bois: 607 exhibitors from 40 countries brought the 2022 edition to life.

Kebony is a real, high-end, ecological and durable wood, used in many exterior applications: terrace, cladding, roofing and furniture. The Dually modified© technology developed by the brand is a patented production process which improves the properties of softwoods to give them characteristics comparable to those of exotic woods. The woods are impregnated with an organic liquid from agricultural crop waste through an environmentally friendly process. By heating the wood, furfuryl polymers enter its cell walls, which increases its density and dimensional stability, and gives it a dark brown color similar to that of tropical wood.

The Norwegian brand has experienced significant growth in its turnover in France for several years. Its participation in the Carrefour International du Bois represents a major challenge in supporting its presence and visibility in the country.
