Utherm Attic, the best ally for the insulation of converted or lost attics

With its new range of Utherm Attic polyurethane foam plates composed of a solution for interior insulation of converted attic slopes and one for unused attic floors, Unilin Insulation offers a response adapted to each need thermal renovation of these spaces.

Composed of Utherm Attic L Gyp and Utherm Attic L OSB, the new range of Utherm Attic plates from Unilin Insulation makes it possible to insulate the interior of an attic without major work.

Thanks to its high thermal performance (lambda of 0,022 W/mK), it is suitable for old houses where the insulation in place is non-existent or insufficient to meet current energy requirements.

UTHERM Attic L Gyp: interior insulation of converted attic slopes

Utherm Attic L Gyp is an insulating board made of rigid polyurethane foam (PIR) coated with a multi-layer gas-tight complex and combined on one side with a BA13 H1 plasterboard.

A solution combining insulation and finishing in a single product, Utherm Attic L Gyp is perfectly suited to renovating the slopes of an attic to create a new living space, for example.

UTHERM Attic L OSB: insulation of floors in lost attics

For insulating the floors of an attic or attic, Unilin Insulation has developed Utherm Attic L OSB, an insulating plate in rigid polyurethane foam (PIR) coated with a multilayer gas-tight complex and associated on one side with a 12 mm OSB panel.

Thermal resistance (m²K/W): 1,90 to 7,45

The new range of Utherm Attic plates from Unilin Insulation benefits from advantages for ease of installation:

• integrated vapor barrier,
• system of tongues and grooved edges on the 4 sides offering assembly by simple interlocking,
• a standard panel format (1200 x 613 mm) easy to handle.
