Weberfloor waxed concrete: new trowelled decorative system for floors and walls

Intended for the production of millimetric waxed concrete coverings, for floors and walls, in residential, tertiary and commercial premises¹, the system made up of all its layers (primer + base + finish or smooth finish + pore filler + wax or varnish) reaches a thickness of 2 to 3 mm. It combines technical performance and aesthetic qualities to create spaces that are both contemporary and friendly.

At the heart of the system, weberfloor waxed concrete binder and weberfloor pigment are intended to be mixed, on site, with the other powder components (weberfloor waxed concrete base, weberfloor waxed concrete finish and weberfloor waxed concrete finish smooth).

If weberfloor waxed concrete binder is a polymer binder in aqueous phase, ready to use, packaged in 10 liter cans, weberfloor pigment, for its part, dye based on natural minerals, pre-dosed for 20 kg of tinting powder , available in 15 colors! Alongside the traditional Grays (Light, Medium, Dark, Black and Pure), Whites (Cotton, Off-White and Blue) come together with Beige and Taupe, all in elegance, while colors such as Pink Nude, Pink Apricot, Terracotta and Aqua Green give surfaces real originality and give boldness to arrangements!

After cleaning and preparation of the support, then application of a primer², weberfloor waxed concrete base, mixed with weberfloor waxed concrete binder and weberfloor pigment, constitutes the base coat. It is easy to apply, in one layer drawn to zero (like a coating), and has excellent adhesion to the support, with the advantage of hiding any imperfections.

After drying and light sanding of the base coat, two finishing coats should be applied, with a choice of weberfloor waxed concrete finish for a raw mineral appearance, or weberfloor waxed concrete finish smooth³ for a smooth mineral appearance.

For this purpose, weberfloor waxed concrete finish like weberfloor waxed concrete finish smooth are mixed again with weberfloor waxed concrete binder.

• Waiting time between two coats: 1 to 2 hours
• Waiting time before application of protective products: 8 to 12 hours

Once dry, a pore filler + wax or varnish surface treatment must be implemented to protect the polished concrete from stains and dirt.

Note that the Weberfloor waxed concrete system is compatible with electric heated and radiant floors. On the health side, the absence^* of joints induces less clogging for an intrinsically hygienic floor which, moreover, is easily cleaned, displaying very appreciable aesthetic durability.
