Following the call for expressions of interest launched in October 2021 with project owners, architects and local authorities, this major national experiment aims to carry out innovative projects, spread over the entire national territory, in new construction and rehabilitation, and paying specific attention to economic sustainability, ecological sobriety, renewal of the housing design chain, social utility and quality of use, urban and architectural housing .
A selection committee made up of 24 members, including 13 women and 11 men, was brought together to assess the projects as a whole and their diversity, by combining their different areas of expertise.
These 97 projects marked with the seal of excellence “Committed to the quality of tomorrow's housing” will benefit from the promotion of their methods, processes and tools, both nationally and internationally, through various media and events. Among these projects, 20 were chosen to benefit from specific support within an incubator. They will benefit from additional expertise, monitoring, evaluation and the support of lawyers in order to secure the proper development of their operations and will be able to benefit from financial support in studies and engineering by the Caisse des dépôts, program partner.
The Committed to the quality of tomorrow's housing program will launch the project incubator on June 23, 2022 during a symposium organized at the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine. An exhibition, a catalog and audiovisual documentaries highlighting the 97 winning projects, their tools, methods and processes, will be unveiled in 2023.
