The energy renovation of housing is an essential subject, the building sector being the leading consumer of energy in France. However, the renovation of collective housing remains relatively marginal compared to individual houses. Based on this observation, AMORCE is working to consolidate the energy renovation of condominiums and participates in the Rénovons Collectif program. Led by Île-de-France Energies, this program targets 86 condominiums within the 500 winning communities, with broader awareness of the 51 million inhabitants of these same territories, ie 20/1 of the French population.
The Local Authorities Trophies for the Energy Renovation of Condominiums are awarded to local authorities, of all sizes, whether or not they are members of AMORCE, who have implemented an ambitious policy in this area. These will be evaluated by a jury made up of national players recognized for their action in favor of ecological transition and their link with communities: Raphaël CLAUSTRE – Managing Director (Île-de-France Energies), Michel MAYA – Vice-President delegate for energy renovation (AMORCE), Pierre DEROUBAIX - Building Service Engineer (ADEME), Gwenola STEPHAN - Sustainable development project manager (AMF), Sébastien CATTÉ WAGNER - Director of the "National plan for dealing with fragile and struggling condominiums" program (ANAH), Valérie FLIS-PLISSON - Project manager for the technical and professional building division (CAPEB), Marianne VILLEY - Energy and Climate study manager (CEREMA), Frank SENTIER - General Delegate (FLAME federation), Claire DELPECH - Environment Manager ( Intermunicipalities of France - AdCF) and Julie LODEWYCKX - Project Manager Sustainable Building Plan (Ministry of Ecological Transition).
This jury will evaluate the applications according to criteria linked to the ambition of the strategy implemented, its articulation vis-à-vis territorial planning, the steps (awareness, communication, partnerships, etc.) carried out with the various stakeholders (households , trustees, professionals, etc.), the establishment of a public advisory and support service for energy renovation, the establishment of financial aid for engineering and works, as well as the exemplarity (energy, social, environmental, etc.) of the project presented by the community. Applications will be divided into five categories determined by the number of inhabitants of the communities. Each category will be awarded a winner, with the jury also electing a "Jury's Favorite" winner.
Applications are open until July 15, 2022 and are made through a declaration of pre-candidacy, subsequently opening access to the application form. The trophies will be presented to the winners during a ceremony organized at the AMORCE annual congress, from October 19 to 21, 2022, while a second edition of the Trophies is already in preparation for 2023.
