Mondial du Bâtiment: registration for the 2022 Innovation Awards is open

For the 2022 edition, the organization of the competition is changing in order to always better showcase all the candidate solutions, before, during and after the shows. Registration is now open, and manufacturers have until May 10, 2022 to apply.

The best of Innovation

Beyond the competition, the Innovation Awards are above all a device that allows for the wider dissemination of the innovations that manufacturers are launching on the market. It brings them both visibility and notoriety. Being a candidate for the Innovation Awards guarantees to benefit from several communication vectors, and this over time, from the launch of registrations until after the fairs.

Innovation is also the priority center of interest for users regardless of their profession or profile (craftsman, SME, majors, etc.) and a real driving force for construction manufacturers.

At each edition, the Innovation Awards demonstrate the dynamism of the sector. In 2019, visitors to the three shows were able to discover 140 innovations.

The 2022 Innovation Awards, an unmissable highlight

In 2022, the organization of the Innovation Awards will change by integrating a digitized registration and selection process to facilitate data entry but also exchanges.

Registration is open until May 10, 2022. Nine "business" categories have been defined in which innovations can be registered:

• Shell, Structure and Envelope,
• Offsite,
• Tech Building,
• Joinery & facades,
• Equipment, Tools, Vehicles and equipment,
• HVAC Engineering,
• Bathroom,
• Interior and Exterior Design,
• Trainings and Services

New for 2022, five usage themes have been defined, in which the solutions will be presented. They illustrate the major challenges faced by all players in the sector:

• 4.0 Construction
• The environment
• Climate
• Trades
• User and resident

The files will be examined by a jury of business experts and a grand jury from June to select the Nominees and Winners of the 2022 Innovation Awards. They will have the opportunity to present their innovation to journalists during a "Press Dating" on Tuesday, June 28, in Paris.

This event will end with the announcement, in preview, of the Winners and the official presentation of the 2022 Innovation Awards will take place in October, at the show.

From October 3 to 6, visitors will have the opportunity to discover all the candidate innovations on the Innovation Spaces of each show thanks to daily thematic pitching sessions and interactive screens. They will also be able to vote live for their favorite innovation.

In addition, the digital catalog of innovations will be made available before, during and after the show on a dedicated website.
