The 2022 Innovation Awards at the Mondial du Bâtiment, an exceptional edition that marks the post-pandemic recovery

For this new edition of the BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN and INTERCLIMA trade fairs, which are being held from October 3 to 6 at Paris-Porte de Versailles, the 2022 Innovation Awards set the trend for the sector's innovation dynamic, with 167 files recorded, i.e. almost 20% more than for the 2019 edition.

A mobilizing edition

The health crisis and the postponement of the Mondial du Bâtiment have in no way affected the dynamism of industrialists. Quite the contrary, and this edition of the Innovation Awards proves it: they were massively present and there are 167 applications which the juries of business experts must now take cognizance of in order to determine the nominees.

As for the winners, they will be announced at the end of the “Press Dating” which takes place on Monday July 4, in Paris and during which the nominees will be able to present their innovations to the press.

112 innovations were recorded for BATIMAT, 12 for IDÉOBAIN and 43 for INTERCLIMA in nine “business” categories:

• Shell, Structure and Envelope,
• Offsite,
• Tech Building,
• Joinery & facades,
• Equipment, Tools, Vehicles and equipment,
• HVAC Engineering,
• Bathroom,
• Interior and Exterior Design,
• Trainings and Services

For this 2022 edition, in addition to the categories by business, five new usage themes corresponding to the major cross-cutting challenges of transformation in the sector have been selected, in which the solutions are presented. They illustrate the major challenges faced by all players in the sector:

• 4.0 Construction
• The environment
• Climate
• Trades
• User and resident

The 2022 Innovation Awards at the Mondial du Bâtiment

From October 3 to 6, visitors will have the opportunity to discover all the candidate innovations on the Innovation Spaces of each of the shows thanks to daily thematic pitching sessions and interactive screens. They will also be able to vote live for their favorite innovation.

The prizes will be awarded to the winners at the fairs.

In addition, the digital catalog of innovations will be made available before, during and after the shows on a dedicated website.
