What are the EUROBOIS AWARDS?
Product launch platform, the EUROBOIS AWARDS rewarded the innovative nature of a product or service, but also its design, its performance, the company's CSR approach, the environmental quality of the product/service, its certification , its use for professionals, and finally its cost control.
This year, the registration process, open to all exhibitors, has been simplified to facilitate company participation. Participating in the competition offered the candidates increased visibility with professionals in the sector before and during the show, with the presentation of all the innovations on the show's website, social networks and on the Eurobois Connect application. .
Pitches and visits to stands to promote innovations and defend projects
To promote their application, companies had the opportunity to present their innovation through a 5-minute pitch, on the show's TV set, on Tuesday 14 June morning. This presentation allowed companies to both meet their audience, but also to seduce the jury by demonstrating their ability to defend their innovation.
The next day, on the 2nd day of the show, the jury visited the stands of the pre-selected innovations. Its members were thus able to discuss with the candidates and discover in detail the new features.
The winners elected by a jury of professionals and students
As every year, the jury was made up of professionals from the wood industry (cabinet makers, fitters, joiners, carpenters, etc.). In order to best represent all audiences, the great novelty this year lies in the creation of a student jury made up of young people in school of architecture, carpentry, layout or engineering.
The creation of this student jury allows a different and new appreciation of the innovations in competition. It is also an opportunity for EUROBOIS to integrate future generations into the sector, who will be the professionals of tomorrow. This immersion in the professional world is just as beneficial to the students, whose presence at the show constitutes a first networking with the actors of the sector. This jury awarded a specific prize to X, which was voted “Students’ favourite”.
