Schöck unveils the latest in its range of thermal breakers, Rutherma type DFi

A concrete response to thermal regulations which evolve into environmental regulations, with a decarbonization advantage

The DFi gets a new look in thermal material, with a new insulating body, Neopor® (an alloy of styrene and granite graphite) instead of expanded polystyrene. This evolution is accompanied by better thermal conductivity since it goes from a lambda of 0.035 w / mK to 0.031 w / mK

The Schöck innovation also relates to a new positioning of the stainless steels of the Rutherma DFi, conferring a triple interest. First of all structural, because the direct consequence is to increase its shearing forces by 22% as well as the recovery of moments up to 83%. Then thermal, since the number of stainless steels has been reduced over its length of 1 meter, knowing that fewer steels translates into less thermal conductivity, and therefore more thermal performance. Finally, the DFi boasts a low carbon weight (kilo of CO2 / Ml), thanks to the low density of its stainless steel frames.

In the process of validation, an FDES for the DFi should soon appear in the INIES database and will confirm, like the DF type models, that it stands out as the most economical thermal breaker on the market in terms of carbon. .
