Like Labaronne-Citaf, which is a pioneer in its field: manufacturer of flexible tanks for 65 years, it was also its inventor in 1958.
Since the first patent of invention, there have been numerous developments and adaptations to arrive at the Labaronne-Citaf flexible tank as it is today: research for high-performance technical fabric adapted to the liquid stored, rigorous choice of suppliers fabric and equipment (French or European), etc.
Faithful to its reputation, Labaronne-Citaf continues to innovate and presents its latest creations specially designed to respond to current demands and issues:
World premiere: the 2.500 m3 self-supporting flexible tank
This innovation is a small revolution that breaks the rules in the agricultural sector (but not only that...) since it offers unrivaled storage capacity. It is the fruit of the work and mobilization of the design office, technical teams and installers of Labaronne-Citaf. Together, they agreed to develop design, manufacturing and installation protocols.
The creation of this 2.500 m3 tank began three years ago, at the request of a farm in Italy which needed it for its pig effluent. It was successfully installed in 2021: it has been working perfectly for more than two years now.
This technical feat has not gone unnoticed: since then, around ten flexible tanks of 2.500 m3 have seen the light of day in Italy, and recently in France, mainly for the storage of agricultural effluent.
The Spectosensor, the first IOT connected sensor for flexible tanks
Developed jointly with a French telecommunications specialist, this sensor is easily installed on the flexible tank and allows its filling level to be monitored remotely.
This innovation is particularly useful to farmers, communities, industrialists, humanitarians and NGOs, construction players, private companies and civil security specialists. In fact, it allows them to be alerted in real time in the event of a leak, theft or vandalism.
All data can also be consulted 24 hours a day on telephone or computer using a dedicated platform.
Another advantage and not the least: maintenance and installation are reduced (no installers, no tools, no sensor settings).
Focus on its main technical characteristics:
- A reliable and powerful network: the SPECTOSENSOR connected sensor captures data ranging from GSM to 4G
- A turnkey module, to offer a sensor that is easy to install, waterproof and weather resistant
- A dedicated platform, adapted for mobile, and displaying all important information continuously
