In interior thermal insulation (ITI)
In ITI, Schöck thermal bridge breakers ensure the continuity of the insulation where it is interrupted by structural concrete connections of the slab-facade or slab-balcony type.
The Schöck Rutherma® thermal bridge breakers type DF, DF-VM are connecting elements between the interior slab and the facade. The DF-VM will be implemented even in the case of thin sails. There are 2 types: one for slabs cast in place with fixing lugs, another allowing the installation of slabs.
In thermal insulation from the outside (ITE)
In ITE, the Schöck thermal bridge breakers ensure the continuity of the insulation where it is interrupted by structural connections of the balcony or parapet type.
The Schöck Rutherma® type K thermal bridge breaker with HTE-Compact® compression strut and an insulating body thickness of 80 mm is a structural and insulating element for cantilevered balconies. It transmits negative moments, positive and negative sharp efforts, if necessary.
