A new eco-designed PIRL range combining safety and comfort

The manufacturer, also committed to a CSR approach, has imagined an eco-designed range in response to the expectations of its users.

Guarantee more safety and comfort: the functional advantages of a range redesigned by TUBESCA-COMABI

TUBESCA-COMABI wanted to develop its PIRL range in order to respond to both technical and CSR challenges. For this, the brand worked at the beginning of 2023 with a group made up of 10 professional users of PIRL products in order to collect their needs and expectations. This is how the PIRL range has been redesigned to offer even more safety and comfort. It is now available in 53 references instead of 31 and will be available for sale from distributors from 1^er January 2024.

In terms of safety, the vast majority of products comply with the French PIR/PIRL standard as well as the European standard EN 131-7 and will be labeled NF in the category of CARSAT subsidized products. TUBESCA-COMABI has also designed three versions of guardrails: straps, rails and saloon for optimal safety. In terms of comfort, the products in the range are equipped with folding stabilizers with millimeter adjustments, extra wide access steps and finally 2 interchangeable tool holder shelves. Essential equipment for greater maneuverability and adaptability.

An eco-designed range, a commitment to TUBESCA-COMABI’s CSR approach

Driven by its customers and distributors and aware of its environmental responsibility, the TUBESCA-COMABI company is engaged in a transformation process from product design through manufacturing processes and marketing. The products making up the PIRL range are therefore made of aluminum and are up to 90% recyclable. They are also repairable: spare parts are quickly available and easy to install, thus extending their lifespan. TUBESCA-COMABI has significantly reduced product packaging while guaranteeing optimal delivery (cardboard dividers and non-retractable stretch film) in order to optimize waste management among its customers.

Two range levels for two types of sites

The PIRL range includes two categories of products. Compact products aimed at maintenance sites, finishing work and finishing and robust products ideally used for structural work.

Compact products:

TUBESCA-COMABI offers three “compact” products which offer lightness, ease of handling and limited bulk thanks to carefully considered sizing.

• THE RAPTOR which stands out for its lightness. It is equipped with 80 mm non-slip steps, folding stabilizers and a compartmentalized tool holder with 2 bucket hooks.
• VELOCE, very mobile thanks to its 4 retractable casters, has an ultra-resistant tablet up to 25 kg
• THE RAPTORSCOPIC is intended to be versatile thanks to its different possible adjustments: removable and interchangeable tool holders and tablet, height adjustment system, etc.

Robust products:

As their name suggests, they are ultra-resistant to operate in conditions of optimal comfort and safety and adapt to the most exposed working environments such as outdoor construction sites, structural work and electricity.

• THE SHERPAMATIC, described as comfortable, is equipped, among other things, with 175 mm notched wheels compared to 160 mm in its previous version, enveloping non-slip shoes and a large working surface of 60 x 40 cm.
• THE SHERPASCOPIC classified in the all-terrain category is available in several versions depending on the number of steps. It is equipped with sliding telescopic planes allowing level shifting and folding stabilizers with millimeter adjustments…
• THE INSULATING SHERPA has fiberglass uprights, an insulating material to work safely against electric shock.

This category, which is available under the name SHERPA, also exists in a premium version with saloon doors and an aluminum floor designed for certain industrial environments: chemistry, pharmacy, food and asbestos removal.
