New website and new visual identity for the National Union of Plaster Industries

Indispensable in construction and interior design, plaster and its derived products meet all requirements in terms of acoustic and thermal performance, comfort and safety.

Aimed primarily at elected officials, institutions and professionals, this site offers many sections intended to arouse the curiosity of some, strengthen everyone's knowledge and illustrate the bright future of this material.

From the "menu" tab, the site presents, in a slightly more traditional way, very complete and useful information on the world of plaster:

• From gypsum to plaster provides information on the use of the gypsum resource carried out with respect for the environment and biodiversity.
• Environment / Circular economy describes the material's benefits in terms of environmental performance, indoor air quality in buildings and recycling of plaster-based construction waste.
• Plaster products and systems presents products, applications and innovations. This section also reaffirms the sector's responses in terms of quality and performance.
• Training & trades details the courses and professions in the sector whose future is promising because of the significant needs of the construction and development sector, in particular for the energy renovation of buildings.
• Our trade union provides information on the members of SNIP and its missions, by mentioning the partners who help us to carry them out.

A new logo

SNIP wanted to take advantage of the overhaul of its website to bring modernity and a contemporary aspect to the graphic identity of the union.

“The first strong choice was to transform the expression" Les Industries du Plâtre "into" snip ", an acronym used by most of those who know us. The explanation of the acronym remains present in the signature of the logo for those who discover our French industrial sector.

The use of a more modern typography than the previous one and that of lowercase letters inscribe our logo in the trend of the time and gives it a softer and more intimate aspect.

Finally, we have chosen to keep a color code close to the existing one (blue, gray) so as not to create a too strong break and to remain within the codes of the building sector. "
