THE VERANDA FOR DESIGN LOVERS
The SDL Akzent Vision thermally insulated roof system features an extravagant design. The fact that the control of static stresses is deliberately visible thanks to the stays and components in stainless steel gives the SDL Akzent Vision a very special design. The perforated load-bearing profiles with internal statics also give the roof visual lightness as well as maximum brightness.
Characteristics CheckHide
- Roof system with complete thermal insulation Corresponding certificates according to EN ISO 10077 available.
- The powder-coated and rounded profiles create a harmonious whole. The design is elegant and timeless. Roof inclination from 5° to 45° possible.
- The wall connection allows easy assembly. The articulated profile adapts to the inclination of the roof thanks to the cardan in the joint.
- Roof glazing of 28 to 44 mm is provided when glazing on four sides. The appearance of the glass, the ventilation in the rebate and the water drainage from the rebate meet the requirements of the glass industry.
- The partially perforated T-profiles with a viewing width of 60 mm provide a veranda with optimal transparency.
- One of the special features of the SDL Akzent Vision veranda is the visible force flow thanks to the guy wires and stainless steel components. In case of special static requirements, stiffening is achieved using a steel sub-construction.
- The elements are installed with the required distance from the posts and gutters to allow the elements to expand due to temperature variations. The free space is filled with pre-compressed tape or mounting foam.
- The elements are installed with the required distance from the posts and gutters to prevent them from colliding. This makes it possible to compensate for construction and manufacturing tolerances.
- The insulated posts with external element stop are suitable for all element depths from 50 to 80 mm and are mounted without visible screws. The interior covering is made with a glazing bead at the posts and gutters.
- The available side rafters also guarantee the same thermal insulation as the entire profile system at the level under the rafters without additional trim. The 24 mm high external stop with additional sealing profile allows easy integration of the elements even under the side rafters. Under the side rafters, the elements are covered internally with flat aluminum material.
- The transverse crosspiece which passes through the glass is connected to the rafter and eliminates the load exerted by the glazing. The waterfall structure of the drainage guarantees optimal evacuation of condensation at the level of the cross brace and the wall rail as well.
- Gutter connections are made with gutter connectors for optimal results regardless of the angle.
- Depending on the customer's wishes, the aeration and ventilation of the veranda can be done using quality manually or electrically operated roof windows and/or electrically controlled roller or metering aerators.
- For construction and calculation at the planning stage, static spreadsheets are available for pre-dimensioning. The static calculations of the system relating to the object are carried out quickly.
- The veranda roof is delivered pre-made; the high prefabrication rate considerably reduces assembly time. The veranda can be assembled on site without further manufacturing costs. All end caps are fitted, the downpipe is perforated where applicable, the rafter screw connections are pre-drilled, the screws/connectors are inserted into the profiles and all ventilation holes are perforated. The consoles with adjustable feet allow the roof to be adjusted as needed.
- The sophisticated roof system requires no silicone seals.
- The dimensions of the elements can be found on the order confirmation drawings and can be used for the manufacture of the elements so that they can be manufactured and are available upon delivery of the roof. In the case of shed roofs, the dimensions of the glass are provided at the same time as the order confirmation. For other roof shapes, they are calculated and provided approximately 1 week before delivery. The assembly of the complete veranda, that is to say the roof, the glazing and the elements, can thus be carried out in one go. This helps reduce assembly costs and satisfy end customers.
- The vertical elements of Solarlux Ecoline, Highline and SL 82 are preferred.
