THE new wool: 10 patents and unprecedented qualities
This wool is made in France from recycled glass (at least 40%), mineral raw materials and a 100% bio-based binder. Eco-designed, it is 100% recyclable endlessly, and thus contributes to indoor air quality for both installers and occupants. It is labeled A +, the best sanitary classification for a construction product intended for indoor use.
Its fiber, longer, more flexible, finer and more resistant from the mechanical point of view, is also more pleasant to the touch and comfortable during installation. It is also recognizable by its cream color.
Its ecological balance is incomparable and enables two major environmental indicators to be improved: air pollution, soil and water acidification.
THE new PAR PHONIC wool has guaranteed acoustic performance.
Insulators from the PAR PHONIC range: 3 solutions for distribution partitions (within the dwelling) or separation (between two dwellings) of premises.
Far from being inevitable, noise needs to be tamed. A well thought-out design of the building and its acoustics makes it possible to control the sound quality, comfort and well-being of those who live or work there.
For single frame partitions, the attenuation gain that can be obtained thanks to the presence of glass wool from the PAR PHONIC range is 6 to 8 dB. The “72/48” and “72/36” partitions are suitable for all applications, in particular new and renovated housing.
BY PHONIC PRO
PAR PHONIC PRO allows improved productivity and installation comfort on intensive partitioning sites thanks to its semi-rigidity. It is packaged in a roll.
For double-framed partitions, thanks to the decoupling between the facings and thanks to the offset double thickness of PAR PHONIC PRO glass wool, the attenuation gain obtained can be up to 15 dB.
BY PHONIC: a real acoustic damper
The PAR PHONIC acts as a shock absorber by absorbing and reducing the amplitude of the waves in the partitions in distribution or in the separation of premises.
It allows to fight against noise pollution in a preventive way.
A single solution to reduce the direct and indirect transmission of noise through the walls: acoustic insulation. Its effectiveness is assured if the acoustic properties of products and systems are based on the “mass-spring-mass” principle. It consists of using double walls, such as plasterboard, separated by a space filled with a flexible insulation such as glass wool which absorbs and dissipates energy.
PAR PHONIC is suitable for the construction or renovation of individual and collective housing, but also offices, hospitals, schools, establishments open to the public (ERP), industrial and commercial premises.
The PAR PHONIC range is available in a choice of thicknesses and widths suitable for all types of partitions:
BY PHONIC: the benchmark for all sound insulation projects in partitions
Benefits
Partitions fitted with THE new ISOVER glass wool by PAR PHONIC can meet all requirements in terms of incombustibility and humidity.
They are suitable for seismic zones and also make it possible to target significant development heights.
PAR PHONIC insulators can be combined with all types of plates and thus meet many applications: these can be pre-painted; waterproof, they are suitable for damp rooms; extra hard, they are ideal for highly stressed rooms.
Regulation
THE NEW PAR PHONIC wool achieves compliance with all regulatory requirements regardless of the type of building and offers comfort to users, beyond the regulations in force.
It has all the certifications and declarations - ACERMI, CE marking, declaration of performance (DoP) and acoustic test reports. PAR PHONIC partition solutions have BIM objects available on the isover.fr site in the My Isover personalized space.
Significant economic performance for professionals
The performance of ISOVER partition solutions with THE new PAR PHONIC glass wool can be assessed at different levels:
- Compared to traditional masonry partitions, metal frame partitions offer, without equal, the best sound reduction gain / market ratio,
- The implementation is fast allowing a better productivity on the construction sites,
- PAR PHONIC products are available without delay, without penalizing the execution of the work,
- The strong compression of the products in their packaging facilitates storage, transport and logistics.
The principle of implementation of light acoustic partitions
Installation of the framework
- After alignment marking, fixing of the top and bottom rails.
- Cutting the vertical uprights to the solplafond height minus 5 mm.
- Engagement of the uprights in the rails (center distance 60 or 40 cm or 90 cm) by clipping them by rotation of a quarter turn.
Fixing of the facing of the 1st side
- Cut plasterboard at the solplafond height minus 1 cm.
- Positioning in abutment of the ceiling.
- Screwing the plates on the vertical uprights every 30 cm, 1 cm from the edges.
Installation of PAR PHONIC range insulation
- Cutting the insulation at the floor-ceiling height increased by 1 cm.
- Wedging the insulation between the studs.
Attaching the second side facing
- Screwing the plates on the vertical uprights and staggered with respect to the first face of the partition.
- Jointing and finishing of plasterboard, fixing every 30 cm, 1 cm from the edges.
