Since its launch in 2021, the 100% French exterior design brand OUTSTEEL by Cheminées Poujoulat has always placed personalization at the heart of its development projects. After being enriched with a new design 2 years ago with the VENITIAN model, the range of covers for heat pump and air conditioning units is adorned with a new palette of 20 new colors.

20 new shades, from the most sober to the most daring

For Laura Lerouxel, product manager at Cheminées Poujoulat: “In order to push personalization and aesthetics even further to meet the growing expectations of consumers, the OUTSTEEL design team has selected 20 new colors capable of appearing harmoniously or brilliantly in an outdoor space . »

Gradients of blue (water blue, pastel turquoise, patina green, may green, etc.) to shades of red (heather purple, carmine, copper brown, beige, salmon, orange, etc.), including an “aluminum white”, it There is something for every taste !

The most daring shades will forcefully highlight the presence of the technical unit of the heat pump or air conditioning. The most discreet will allow it to blend elegantly into the decor and make the installation almost invisible.

These 20 new finishes are in addition to the standard colors already available.

In addition to their design aspect, the cladding also contributes to the longevity of the units due to their design in galvanized steel, a robust and recyclable material, by providing protection against bad weather, shocks or even solar rays.

These new colors have been integrated into 5 models in the OUTSTEEL range:

BROUSSE: full cover with an openwork design inspired by plants, best-seller in the range
VENETIAN: full cover inspired by Venetian blinds
BUBBLES: full cover with a definitely retro look, made up of perforated grids reminiscent of sparkling bubbles
COVER: economical cap system which covers and protects the heat pump from above
CAP: another design of cap resistant to hazards with its solid anchoring to the ground or wall

The Cat-Design configurator to test these new colors in augmented reality

All these colors can be tested in augmented reality using the CAT-DESIGN configuration application.

It's simple, once the application has been downloaded to the smartphone or tablet (available in the Apple Store and on Google Play), all you have to do is select the heat pump skin of your choice, configure it, then launch the augmented reality functionality to visualize the installation in situ.

Since the start of the year, nearly 1.000 color tests have been carried out by Internet users on OUTSTEEL cladding using the CAT-DESIGN configurator. Proof once again of the strong interest in home personalization.
