Caisse des Dépôts rewards 12 projects "for research in architecture and landscape"

Caisse des Dépôts today unveiled the 12 winners of the call for applications "for architecture and landscape research" which it will support from September 2020, as part of its patronage policy.

Open to doctoral students, teacher-researchers and professionals, this call for applications aims to distinguish, for the fifth consecutive year, research projects that fall under one of the following themes:

Act to preserve climatic and ecological balances;
Support territorial transformation;
Strengthen social cohesion.

The winning researchers will continue their work thanks to an annual endowment of € 15 granted by the Caisse des Dépôts.

Through this support, Caisse des Dépôts intends to enhance the research and innovation practices carried out by graduates within schools, by teachers and by agencies, collectives or other professional structures. The results of this research will constitute a focus for reflection in order to better anticipate future developments in architecture and landscape.

The 12 winning projects were distinguished by a jury made up of academics, professionals and representatives of public authorities.

The 12 winners will continue their research work from September 2020. These may take the form of an academic thesis, a study report on experimental projects or deliverables for the general public. The laureates undertake to present each year a progress report on their research project which conditions the renewal of this support.
