Multifunctional and innovative, the FLEXSTEP replaces a classic staircase and becomes a staircase or an elevator according to the request: its steps lower and transform into a platform to accommodate a wheelchair, it goes up or down then returns to its initial state of staircase at the end one minute in the absence of a new maneuver.
The FLEXSTEP has a steel structure (Standard color Akzo Nobel 900 Sanded) which can be combined with a large number of options for steps and handrails (different types of wood, metal, etc.) in order to harmonize as well as possible with its environment.
Its installation requires little work, indeed a 230 V mono power supply and a flat surface of approximately 1200 X 1400 mm (see plan depending on the height to be crossed) are sufficient.
The FLEXSTEP complies with the Machinery Directive 2006/42 / EC.
The maximum load is 400 kg distributed evenly on the lift, or a maximum of 2 people.
The FLEXSTEP stair lift is equipped with so-called maintained pressure push buttons, that is to say that the user must press continuously throughout the movement.
Buttons are installed on the various landings and also integrated into the device.
The FLEXSTEP lift is equipped with various safety devices so that the user or any other person is not injured during use.
- Anti-pinch : Pressure plates are fixed under the lift as a whole. They activate if an object gets stuck underneath. When this protection is activated, the lift stops and then rises by about 2 cm, and at the same time, an audible signal sounds.
- Infrared anti-pinch : Infrared sensors are placed between the steps to avoid any risk of crushing them. If the infrared sensors are disturbed while the FLEXSTEP is transforming, the mechanism stops, and an audible alarm sounds.
- The ramp : When moving the platform upwards, the ramp rises before moving the lift and serves as fall protection.
The colour
The standard color is Akzo Nobel 900 Sablé but you can optionally choose another color from the RAL range.
The materials
The steps and handrails of the device are made of oak (inside) and checkered sheet and steel (outside). You can also choose other coverings for the device (ash, beech, mahogany, stainless steel, painted metal, vacuum ...)
Balustrades
The handrails of the appliance can be either round (indoor only) or square.
