Adeline, you have just been appointed SEO Service Manager, but you have been with ELCIA for more than five years now. Can you go back on your journey?
“I joined ELCIA in 2017, after my studies at INSA Lyon, where I graduated in Materials Engineering. I joined the Referencing Service in which I held the position of Project Engineer for two years. In 2019, I jumped at the opportunity to become a Sales Engineer in order to support our Industry sales representatives on the technical side. I learned pre-sales, sales and customer follow-up. I then joined the Industry Customer Service which was created in 2021, as Customer Project Manager: I supported our industrial partners in putting their EDI or MyPricer projects into production. I was able to develop my skills in support, project monitoring and customer advice. Today I am opening a new page in my adventure at ELCIA by becoming Head of the Referencing Service. »
You take over the Management of the Referencing Service, which is one of ELCIA's historic Services. Can you introduce it to us?
“The Referencing Service is one of the pillars of ELCIA! It is he who referenced and is in charge of keeping up to date the 1 Tariff Libraries of our 750 Industrial partners in the ELCIA Configurator. This Service guarantees the reliability of our Referenced Libraries! It is his work that means that our craftsmen, installers and resellers can produce accurate quotes, with up-to-date prices and that in the end the costed product can be manufactured. For this, the Referencing Department works in complete confidence with the teams of our industrial partners. You have to understand their products, their options and their business rules, to then configure them in our tools.
We therefore make it a point of honor that each member of the Service is a true business expert, who speaks the same language as manufacturers. Each newcomer follows a training course of several months, on our internal tools, but also on the profession of our partners, the carpentry sector, its vocabulary.
The Referencing Service is now made up of 19 Engineers and 3 Technicians, some of whom work at our Tarbes site, in particular for the management of cross-functional projects with ISIA. For a few years, we have organized the Service by drawing inspiration from the stages that exist in Industry: studies and estimates, planning, quality and production. »
What will be your duties in this new position?
I take the head of the SEO Department with two main objectives! In the face of current price variations, we need to assure the market that updates to our 1 Referenced Price Libraries are delivered on the right date. It's a real challenge! Second objective: support manufacturers so that the configuration of their products is richer and allows their customers to place orders in EDI. The dematerialization of orders makes their daily lives easier and prevents their teams from wasting time calling back the installer because information is missing.
This involves managing the Service, monitoring its activity and respecting its objectives. I ensure the smooth running of SEO projects, I accompany the members of the team, help them, advise them. I was a Project Engineer for two years, it's essential to understand how the Service works. I also make sure of their well-being in the Service and of their skills development, whether technically or in project management. I will be supported by Jonathan Farge, who has been part of the SEO Department for 17 years. We will form a real pair.
The Service's continuous improvement strategy will also be at the heart of my missions. The needs of our industrial partners are changing, and so are ELCIA solutions. It must be the same for our internal tools!
Finally, my role is also to communicate with the other ELCIA departments. For example, with the Product Service to inform them of the technical needs that have been reported to us by manufacturers or with the Industry Customer Service to respond effectively to the problems of our partners.
Finally, what more do you want to add?
My various missions at ELCIA allow me today to have a 360° vision of Industry: technical, commercial, support. This global vision, I also have it internally. I worked with several Services, I know the needs of each team. I would like to draw on this experience to make relations between the different ELCIA Services more fluid: it is our partners who will come out on top!
I also want to take a fresh look at the organization of the Referencing Service. To be able to reorganize certain aspects of the life of the team, always in this concern for continuous improvement, for ever more efficiency and quality.
At ELCIA, happy women managers!
Girl Power! With the appointment of Adeline MOURLEVAT to a management position, a symbolic bar has just been crossed: 58% of ELCIA employees are now managed by women!
While the male/female ratio at ELCIA is 68% compared to 32%, the majority of employees are managed by women who are completely successful in their management positions. For Stéphanie ROBIN, Group HR Director: “Even if the world of software publishing remains a sector that is still difficult to feminize, at ELCIA, we are working towards greater parity. This is a key figure for the company, it underlines the fact that women reach management and management positions as much as their male colleagues”
Managed and happy! To celebrate Women's Rights Day, ChooseMyCompany (at the origin of the HappyAtWork Label), published the WomenTop40, its ranking of the 40 best companies with 100 to 500 employees where women are the happiest and most committed. ELCIA ranks 23rd out of more than 678 companies in the category. A real pride!
