As part of a study conducted with the financial support of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and in connection with Construire en Chanvre Île-de-France, Gatichanvre and BioBuild Concept, Cerema has shown that the coupled transfers of heat and humidity in hemp concrete walls can reduce the heating requirement by up to 70% in the case of a building with high thermal performance.
