As part of the deployment of this new international concept, Wavin France has completely redesigned its Wavin Academy training center located in Auvergne, at the head office in Varennes-sur-Allier (03). After several months of study and work, the Wavin Academy will open its doors in the fall of 2021 and will allow specialized training sessions in a perfectly adapted setting.
As an extension of the training courses offered until now in its Technopole center, the Wavin Academy offers theoretical and technical training in a completely new framework where a large place is devoted to the implementation of Wavin solutions.
Tailor-made training to share Wavin know-how
With more than 600 m2 spread over 2 buildings, the new Wavin Academy center has been designed to adapt to all training configurations: amphitheater, practical workshops for TP and Construction solutions, simulation pits for TP solutions, etc.
The Wavin Academy offers accessible, clear and fun training for all the players involved in the decision-making and implementation chains: project managers, project owners, public works and construction companies, distributors and installers (plumbers, heating engineers, etc.). It meets the training needs of the manufacturer's partners to ensure the smooth running of the sites. Wavin provides concrete teaching in workshops reproducing worksite environments as they are practiced in real life.
At the heart of this new center, complete lighting is offered on Wavin solutions for Public Works (polypropylene tubes, retention basins, inspection boxes and Tegra manholes, pavement drains, etc.) and for buildings (hydrodistribution, multilayer fittings, heated floors, climatic ceilings, heating regulation systems, multi-connectors, etc.). The products are physically present to see and touch them.
The deployment of the Wavin Academy demonstrates the manufacturer's desire to support its partners. From training to site monitoring, from product recommendation to their implementation, the teams from the Wavin design and sales office strive to develop a close relationship with their partners at each stage of the site.
At the heart of the Wavin Academy, on site or remotely via Teams or webinars, the Wavin teams are constantly devoting themselves to the training of professionals in the Building and Public Works for the technical implementation of solutions. in the rules of the art as in the respect of the normative and legislative frameworks.
This is why each Wavin partner can call on the Wavin Academy teams to request the implementation of tailor-made training at the manufacturer's headquarters or even at the customer's or even directly on the site. Ideally located, in the heart of France in Auvergne, the Wavin Academy is very easy to access thanks to its proximity to Vichy and Clermont-Ferrand.
Training for the actors of tomorrow
Because students are the future of the sector, Wavin also offers training sessions within CFA TPs such as the CFA in Egletons and CFA in Mallemort. In 2020, despite a particular health context, 150 students were trained by Wavin. These training courses supplemented those of 400 professionals in Public Works and Construction. For perfect supervision and ideal support, the training sessions of the Wavin Academy are given on average over 2 days.
