So many subjects essential to the Federation which are honored during this event. This year the competition was chaired by Marc Pigeon, President Build Europe and former President of the FPI. The Pyramids ceremony was held on December 15, 2021 on live web TV. The GIP, a partner of the FPI for many years, has sponsored the industrial innovation prize since the creation of the competition. By awarding this trophy, the GIP wishes to promote innovation in the materials used, in the construction process and in customer service.
For Véronique Lenail, President of the GIP: “For us The industrial innovation pyramid must promote two aspects in construction: innovation (in materials, in construction methods or in marketing techniques) and quality. This is the best way to avoid all the faults which generate additional costs or waste of time for the promoters and dissatisfaction on the part of the customers. "
This year, the GIP rewarded the project "Les Jardins d'Embruns" of Quartus Résidentiel Aquitaine
This residence located in Biganos (33), is an innovative project in terms of design and use of geo-sourced materials for Quartus in New Aquitaine. Between sea and forest, this program consisting of 83 housing units divided into 7 buildings is the first regeneration project of the New R ZAC carried out by Aquitanis.
The Nouvelle R project for the Facture district is part of this growth dynamic and reflects a strong commitment from the community to control development by offering housing for all, sustainable and carrying the values of a new district built for tomorrow.
Ultimately, the concerted development zone (of 14 hectares) will offer around 700 housing units, public spaces (including the Parc du Pin delivered in July 2019), commercial premises, a hotel and even a cinema complex.
Designed around nature, Les Jardins d'Embruns has a new construction of materials: raw earth which has an excellent carbon footprint. It is an abundant local resource devoid of volatile organic compounds which are the main source of pollution of inhabited spaces. Raw earth provides comfort in life: in fact, it naturally regulates humidity and maintains an ideal temperature by restoring the heat accumulated during the day at night.
