Launch of the 4th edition of the Canalisseurs 2024 video competition aimed at companies and training centers

The professional organization Les Canalisseurs is launching the fourth edition of its video competition on January 15, 2024, which will close on April 16, 2024. The competition aims to highlight and highlight the professions in the drinking water, sanitation and sanitation networks. gas, to make them known to as many people as possible and to share their various aspects, specificities and performances.

As in previous editions, the competition is open to employees of pipeline companies as well as students from initial and continuing training centers and vocational high schools, who are the best ambassadors for promoting their passion and their pride in exercising their job.

Any person or group of people working or studying in France in the drinking water, sanitation and gas network work sector can participate, without conditions of age or hierarchical level, in this competition by making a film of 3 minutes max.

This year there is no particular theme to respect, the videos proposed can concern all aspects of the professions: technique, environment and ecological transition, training, new technologies, new equipment, safety prevention, etc. as soon as they highlight them.

Application for the competition can be done individually or collectively. The duration of the video must be between 1 and 3 minutes and broadcast on Dailymotion or Youtube. She will be able to show a professional gesture, take a portrait, depict a machine, equipment, a construction site, present a mobile application, a network identification tool, etc.

The videos must, under penalty of being disqualified from the competition, respect the rules of safety and prevention (rules of shielding in the trenches, wearing of PPE, etc.) and the rules of people. Videos produced expressly for the competition and not videos produced for the purposes of promoting the company or the training center are expected.

Originality, humor, special effects or any other form capable of promoting the professions of channelers will be part of the rating criteria. The technical quality of the video is not considered a primary criterion but competitors must ensure that the image and sound are sufficiently satisfactory to be viewed in good conditions.

A jury, made up of employees from different companies, positions and ages, will meet in April after the closing of applications to rate the videos and designate the two winning videos: the best video in individual application and the best video in application collective.

The two prizes will be officially presented on May 29 during the General Assembly of Canalisseurs in Paris and the winners will be rewarded.
