Results of the construction division at the 47th edition of the WorldSkills Competition: construction professions on the national podium of excellence

800 young regional champions competed in intense competitions in 69 professions, including 18 professions in the construction sector, the largest in competition.

The CCCA-BTP, partner of WorldSkills France, was present in force with construction professionals, under the banner of the “Construction” campaign, to promote among young people the innovation, diversity and richness of the construction professions. building and public works, promote apprenticeship as a path to initial professional training of excellence and success and make young people want to join the sector.

The candidates from the construction division, aged under 23, competed to show the best of themselves through the mastery of their know-how, their talent, their determination and the passion they have for their work. respective profession.

Every year, construction training organizations and training companies mobilize and invest heavily in the WorldSkills Competition. They invite apprentices to get involved, prepare them and support them from regional selections to international competition.

Tremendous ambassadors of the values ​​of excellence and success transmitted during their training course, the young competitors have all fully embodied the mutual aid, complementarity and team spirit inherent in the construction trades, while symbolizing excellence. of the learning model.

Most of the competitors were trained through apprenticeship, thanks to the daily involvement of their apprenticeship master in the company and their trainers in the training center. The 113 young medal-winning champions of the construction pole have once again demonstrated their talent and professionalism, as well as their perfect mastery in the practice of their profession.
