In order to perpetuate the heritage of the Universal Exhibition, the city of Dubai has decided to rehabilitate the infrastructures built for the occasion and create “District 2020”. This project plans to reuse 80% of the buildings designed for Expo 2020 Dubai in order to evolve towards a smart, sustainable and human-centered city model with more than 45.000m² of green spaces.
