Barbara Pompili, Minister of Ecological Transition, Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, Gérald Darmanin, Minister of the Interior, Sébastien Lecornu, Minister of Overseas Territories, and Olivier Véran, Minister of health and solidarity, announce the operations which have been selected in order to benefit from financing from France Relance and which are intended to be part of the third “Earthquake Antilles” plan currently being finalized. In total, no less than 31 buildings will benefit from France Relance as part of an Antilles earthquake plan.

In Guadeloupe, the Basse-Terre hospital center will be brought up to earthquake-resistant standards for funding of 13,7 million euros, while the Prefecture and the sub-prefecture will be able to benefit from the large-scale reinforcement work desired for many years. .

In Martinique, the hospitals of Saint Esprit, François and Rivière-Salée will be extended and partially rebuilt for funding of 16,3 million euros. 24 public buildings useful for crisis management, such as the Lamentin and Trinité gendarmeries, will also be the subject of work to improve their resilience.
