For this underground site, diaphragm walls 42 meters deep, up to 1,5 meters thick and about 4 meters wide are put in place. Schöck Combar® steel and fiberglass reinforcing cages are then inserted into the shaft and concrete is poured. The diaphragm walls are thus created and secure a shaft of 110 x 25 meters. It is from there that the tunnel boring machine starts, which digs a 33 km long tunnel for the "Line 15 South" of the Grand Paris Express.
