This mission is part of the action of electricians without borders which, in partnership with Enedis, aims to improve the living conditions of the populations of two isolated villages via access to electricity.
Three volunteers employed by Enedis in Brittany and volunteers at ESF have embarked on the adventure!
For two weeks, the volunteers were responsible for receiving the work and commissioning the installations which were carried out by a local electrician.
In total, three operations were carried out "as the sun goes by" including the installation of 4 solar street lights in the village of Diogane, particularly at the docking pontoons in order to secure access to the health center, the unloading and drying of the fish at night.
Beyond a technical mission, it is also a human adventure because these installations will have a real impact on the life of the village and its inhabitants.
