Appointment | Benoît Hennaut, new president of the Center for Studies and Research in the Concrete Industry (CERIB) Benoît Hennaut, 64, was elected President of the Center for Studies and Research in the Concrete Industry (CERIB) on July 1, 2025. He succeeds Bertrand Bedel, President since 2021. He is Chairman of the Executive Board of the HERIGE Industries group. -

Organization News | Cerib supports companies in the concrete industry to obtain the Afnor CSR Committed Label For several years, Cerib has supported companies in the Concrete Industry in their health, safety, environment and CSR approach. To best meet the expectations of the profession, in 2021 the Center signed an agreement with AFNOR Certification to prepare concrete manufacturers for the Committed CSR label, issued by AFNOR Certification. -
Digital Tools | BIM: creation of the Concrete Industry Data Dictionary The development of digital processes in construction requires the creation of common languages for the exchange of information between project stakeholders. Supported by data dictionaries, these languages allow the use of consistent definitions to describe structures, systems and components in digital models. -
Appointment | Bertrand Bedel, new president of Cerib Bertrand Bedel was elected President of Cerib on January 26, 2021 for a three-year term. He succeeds Philippe Gruat, president since 2018. A long-standing commitment to the concrete industry, Bertrand Bedel has been a member of the board of directors of Cerib since 2012 and president of the Federation of Concrete Industry (FIB) since June 2019. -
