Support for Cerib in the CSR transition of concrete manufacturers

Le Cerib offers a CSR action plan to support groups, ETIs, SMEs and VSEs in this transition. This support consists of carrying out an initial diagnosis to assess their CSR practices at head office and on the sites. For companies wishing to go further, Cerib also offers support to prepare them for the AFNOR Committed to CSR labeling.

Based on the AFNOR Certification reference system, this support makes it possible to carry out a pre-assessment, according to the Committed RSE model, concluded with a report, then to define an action plan to prepare the company for the AFNOR Committed RSE label. . This approach makes it possible to reduce the duration of the AFNOR assessment and thus optimize the costs for the company. The supported company is also better prepared for the assessment, thanks to a better understanding of the reference system.

In 2021, the RECTOR LESAGE group committed to a CSR approach structured around four axes: Decarbonizing its products and activities, Protecting the environment and preserving biodiversity, Promoting well-being at work, Anchoring its activities in the territories. He was also the first concrete manufacturer to join the Committed CSR approach of AFNOR Certification.

Cerib's support began in the 3rd quarter of 2021 with a mock pre-audit according to AFNOR Certification's Committed CSR benchmark carried out at headquarters and at several group sites. Cerib's auditors met many employees and external stakeholders of RECTOR LESAGE in order to assess the group's strategy, practices and performance in terms of CSR.

RECTOR LESAGE was able to rely on the conclusions of this pre-audit, then on personalized support provided in the 1st half of 2022 by Cerib to prepare effectively for the labeling audit in June 2022 by AFNOR, while carrying out its first CSR report.

At the end of this assessment, AFNOR Certification positioned the group carrying the Committed CSR label at the “Confirmed” level (3rd level on a scale of 4 levels, the last of which is that of exemplarity).
