What are we talking about ?

In building renovation, low-tech designates a set of simple techniques and know-how that mobilize local, accessible and renewable resources in materials and energy. Low-tech calls on local and transferable know-how for implementation, use and maintenance that are simple, inexpensive, sustainable and accessible to all. This approach makes it possible to enhance the heritage while freeing itself from the questions of supply and renewal of sophisticated equipment produced outside the territory and quickly obsolete.
