Launch of the 1st edition of the Resilient Buildings Trophies

The Mission Risques Naturels (MRN) is launching, in partnership with the Agence Qualité Construction (AQC) and Construction21, with the support of the French Insurance Federation (FFA) and the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition, the first edition Resilient Buildings Trophies.

Over the past half century, undeniable progress has been made in construction techniques. However, the loss of buildings following natural and climatic events (floods, drought, hail, forest fires, earthquakes ...) remains a subject of permanent concern.

This is why this competition rewards for resilient frames - new, renovated or rebuilt - designed to cope with natural and climatic hazards . It pays particular attention to buildings designed using an integrated “multi-hazard” and / or “multi-performance” approach (carbon impact, consideration of biodiversity, comfort and health of residents, social innovation, etc.). .).

The objective: to promote the consideration of natural and climatic risks in construction.

Which project can participate?

Any type of insured building, public or private (individual or collective housing, tertiary, public building, school ...) located in France
Building exposed to at least one natural and climatic hazard
Building that may or may not have been damaged due to a hazard
Building delivered or demonstrator already completed
New construction, reconstruction, extension or global renovation with delivery between 2015 and 2020
