Lars Petersson new CEO of the Velux Group succeeds David Briggs who is retiring

Lars Petersson served as President and Managing Director of Hempel, a global coatings company based in Denmark. Prior to Hempel, Lars Petersson held senior positions at Inwido, a window and door manufacturer, as well as at Tarkett, a French multinational flooring company. Since 2019, Lars Petersson has been a member of the board of the Danish company Dovista.

Lars Petersson is 53 years old. Of Swedish origin, he lives in the region of Copenhagen.

David Briggs retires and leaves VELUX

After five years at the helm of the VELUX Group, David Briggs will step down as CEO in September.
