This year, the Carrefour International du Bois will celebrate its 30th anniversary. This unique event in Europe, organized by the Fibois Pays de la Loire inter-professional association, was founded in 1992 with the idea of providing companies in the wood industry with a place to present their products and know-how.
For Jean Piveteau, new president of Carrefour International du Bois: “Very quickly, the show was a great success, taking on an international dimension, both from the point of view of exhibitors and visitors. »
After a canceled 2020 edition and four years of absence, in particular due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Carrefour International du Bois returns from June 1 to 3 at the Parc des Expositions in Nantes. The last edition, held in 2018, was an unprecedented success, with a record attendance of 11 visitors and 500 exhibitors. In the meantime, the use of the material wood has become widely democratized in all sectors of activity and parts of daily life, due to a general awareness of its benefits in the essential energy transition.
For Olivier Loheac, Sales Manager France: “It's an unmissable event that will allow us to increase our notoriety in order to be seen by those who know us, and especially discovered by those who don't know us. »
The sustainable wood brand Kebony has experienced significant growth in its turnover in France for several years. Its participation in the Carrefour International du Bois represents a major challenge in increasing its presence and visibility in the country. Four market managers will be present on the 15 m2 stand located in hall 4. The brand will exhibit its two ranges for cladding and decking, namely Character and Clear.
