The system is installed directly on the existing floor (tiles or raw concrete) provided that it is in good condition (clean, not broken, not cracked, no carpet). If the floor is carpeted, you must first remove the carpet and clean the surface properly.
It consists of:
- a RAUTHERM SPEED RENOVA plate,
- a 12 mm RAUTHERM SPEED tube (PE-XA tube equipped with a hook-and-loop strip)
- a specific THERMIO® MAX screed 10 mm above the tube.
The THERMIO® MAX fluid screed was specially developed by the company ANHYDRITEC for heating-cooling floors. Anhydrite, it has very high thermal conductivity (2.5 W/mK) and provides the system with unrivaled reactivity. It also has the advantage of having an extremely reduced thickness compared to other coating solutions on the market.
