This appointment comes as the scale-up is currently conducting a new fundraiser aimed at supporting its ambition: to structure a network of more than 50 3D printing units worldwide by 2025. XtreeE is thus pursuing its objective of to provide the AEC sector (architects, designers and engineers) with new, more efficient construction systems, making it possible in particular to respond to a growing demand for individualized solutions of better quality and durability, at controlled cost and time.
For Dominique Corvez: « After two initial fundraisers, the entry into the capital of Vinci Construction, Shibumi International and Holcim France, the current fundraiser will allow us to accelerate the unprecedented development of our global network of connected 3D printing units, able to efficiently and locally produce tailor-made structural construction elements, based on XtreeE technology. »
In support of the 3D printing systems it markets, XtreeE provides its customers – through its “Printing-as-a-Service” platform – with a catalog of certified products and numerous digital assistance tools to facilitate architectural design and production of 3D printed parts.
An engineer-architect by training, Dominique Corvez is a graduate of the École des Ponts ParisTech (2005), Éav&t (2006) and holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Berkeley (2007). After beginning his career at C&E Ingénierie, he joined the Lafarge group (now Holcim) in 2009, where he held the position of Ductal® Technical Director – for the development of ultra-high performance fiber-reinforced concrete (UHPC) of the same name. – before becoming, in 2013, North America Director in charge of strategy and development on the continent. In 2019, he joined the Eiffage group as part of the launch of a new brand and a subsidiary of Eiffage Génie Civil dedicated to the repair of engineering structures and specialized works, ÆVIA, of which he was the Director. of subsidiary. A little less than a year ago, he joined the management of the Joint Venture EKFB led by Eiffage on the HS2 project in the United Kingdom until his recent arrival at XtreeE.
Holder of an MBA obtained in 2018 from the Chicago Booth School of Business, passionate about implementing innovation and drawing on his experience in technical development and international project management, Dominique Corvez intends to pursue the work carried out for 7 years by the co-founders of XtreeE, to consolidate its economic model and definitively make it one of the major players in 3D printing on a global scale.
