The Sarthe commune of Grand-Lucé has acquired a biomass heat network

Grand-Lucé has swapped fuel oil for a wood-fired boiler room and a heating network. The wood boiler room, located outside the ring road, has two boilers powered by shredded wood from the region. All municipal buildings in Grand-Lucé are connected to it! The installation made it possible to almost halve the municipality's heating bill.
