Status: Public industrial and commercial establishment, placed under the joint supervision of the ministries in charge of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy and Higher Education and Research.
Mission
ADEME participates in the implementation of public policies in the fields of the environment, energy and sustainable development. In order to allow them to progress in their environmental approach, the Agency makes available to businesses, local communities, public authorities and the general public, its expertise and advisory capacities. It also helps to finance projects, from research to implementation in its areas of intervention.
