High-tech product, CityPro grouting sand® NextGelMC FOR TILES AND PAVERS is a mixture of calibrated sand and binder which is applied dry, compacts, watered and hardened after drying. It is specially formulated for the jointing of slabs and pavers placed on flexible soil (sand or stabilized sand) draining. It can be used in new laying, as an alternative to conventional sand joints, as in renovation.
Ready to use, the CityPro® NextGelMC allows an easy and fast jointing. With a suitable compressive strength suitable for flexible floors, it remains flexible and obeys movements which could cause the joints to burst or crack or damage paving stones or slabs.
It adheres permanently to the walls of cobblestones without ever contracting. Its formulation avoids generating or transmitting efflorescence. Unlike conventional sand, it remains perfectly stable and well in place.
It prevents weed growth and insect infestation. It effectively resists erosion caused by water, frost, wind, cleaning, etc. It contributes to the cleanliness of the premises by preventing the sand from the joints from spreading on the surface. It stabilizes horizontal or sloping structures.
To better resist ground movements, the CityPro® NextGelMC becomes flexible when wet and firms as it dries.
