A sustainable construction and development platform created in 1996, the HQE Association has set itself the mission of bringing together stakeholders to:

• anticipate and initiate reflection
• contribute to the development of excellence in territories and professional practices
• promote and defend, from the local to the international level, the general interest of the actors

To do so, it offers and develops the reference frameworks, pools knowledge, trains professionals and embodies its values both with regional networks and with global bodies (WorldGBC, SB Alliance, CEN, ISO ...).

The HQE Association, a non-profit association, has been recognized as a public utility since 2004.

The action of the HQE Association relates to works and operational development: from individual housing to the district, via the tertiary park, as well for the new as for the renovation, rehabilitation or operation.
Its scope of action has officially extended to neighborhoods since 2010 with HQE Aménagement. Indeed, the sum of HQE buildings does not make an HQE district, just as the sum of HQE districts does not make the city sustainable. It is necessary to act on each scale taking into account the characteristics of each, according to the given context.

The HQE Association has strong values

• General interest The HQE Association must exceed the specific interests of each of its members and always be in search of consensus for the general interest.
• Openness Listening to all stakeholders, the HQE Association has working groups open to non-member experts, calls for comments on these reference frames on the Web and provides free access. his works.
• Culture of the network The HQE Association favors network work above all to multiply its action and promote a close exchange with the players.

The HQE Association is aimed at all clients, professionals and experts in its sector at local, national or international level.
Through its clubs, workshops and colleges, the HQE Association can invite everyone to join it.

With more than 15 years of know-how, recognized as a public utility since 2004, the HQE Association has created, carried out and declined the HQE approach. A quality approach and a real inter-professional link, it constitutes the French toolbox for sustainable construction and development.
