The Millet Group, manufacturer of made-to-measure joinery since 1946, has set itself the challenge of creating a window in its simplest form with the aim of making it INVISIBLE, THIN and SOLID.

Imagined and conceived on the principle "less is more", the result after 3 years of research and development was imposed quite naturally with siMple, the window.

This patented carpentry is the first striking window on the market in exterior aluminum and interior steel based on MULTIMATERIAL* technology.

simple, the window benefits from several breakthrough technological innovations, namely:

simple, the INVISIBLE window: a hidden frame, invisible hinges and handles lacquered in the color of the carpentry for greater purity.
simple, the THIN window: 45mm profiles and a 60mm central mullion, 30% to 40% thinner than a standard window (90 to 100mm most commonly) for a light gain of up to 35% .
simple, the SOLID window: a welded steel sash to reach non-standard dimensions up to 2.650 mm in height without transom or lighter.

In terms of performance, simple the window defies all other materials on the market with a thermal coefficient Uw of 1.2 W/(m².K) benefited by a switch per thermal chamber which allows hot and cold air to be isolated for greater comfort .

In terms of decoration, simple window takes advantage of the know-how of the MILLET Group by relying on its unique MULTICOLORING* technology on more than 27 colors to satisfy all color desires and match all regional architectural styles.

In what way is simple the window an innovation concerning invisibility?
"To make this window pretty, it had to be pure! We therefore made the cut lines invisible thanks to a welded sash, lacquered the handle in the color of the sash. Finally, the hinges and the frame are hidden and helps to have a more minimalist window.”

"Today, the observation made on the market is simple: the majority of 2-leaf windows have a central profile of 94 mm. Our wish is to bring much more light and we have succeeded in offering 35% of light in addition thanks to the central profile of 60 mm and the sash of 45 mm. "

"Being the inventor of the multi-material concept, we master it perfectly and to meet the new demands of our customers - more robustness, more safety, larger dimensions - we therefore quite naturally made the choice to combine aluminum to steel.
