The government refuses to authorize visits to real estate but agrees to extend the Pinel device

The day after a call launched by ten major real estate networks to make it possible to visit real estate, the minister said on BFM Business that it was "too early" to consider any change.

Only an "interministerial response" can put an end to the restrictions in force, explained Ms. Wargon, adding that she was working with these real estate networks on "health protocols" to supervise visits once the confinement is lifted.

Asked about the future of the Pinel device, which was due to expire at the end of 2021, the Minister announced its extension in 2022.

This device is intended for future owners who intend to rent their property in the new sector: they are entitled to an advantageous tax device if they undertake to charge a rent below the market.

"How are we going to extend it? Identically or by improving it? There, discussions are still underway," she said.
