The SOLKEM group produces and distributes a wide range of chemical products for professional and domestic use under the FAREN brand: cleaning products and products for industrial processes (metal working fluids, lubricants, water treatment) but also cleaning products, disinfectants, washing gel for hands, glues and products for protection and surface treatment.
Manufactured by SK SOLKEM Industries in a 38 m000 factory located in Solaro (on the outskirts of Milan), these products are distributed in Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Greece by companies affiliated to the group, and by distributors in other European countries.
Through this acquisition, the TECHNIMA group extends its product offering well beyond its usual scope of aerosol paint, while strengthening its presence in the technical sprays sector.
TECHNIMA designs, produces and distributes a wide range of aerosol paints for marking, retouching, or decoration, as well as technical aerosols marketed under its own brands and under the brands of its customers. The company was founded in 1962 under the name SOPPEC by Christian de Maillard in Angoulême. At that time, the company produced paints and varnishes for the repair and decoration of furniture. In the 90s, the company reoriented itself towards the production of marking sprays in the field of forestry and construction, and became the current European market leader in this segment.
From 2009, SOPPEC implemented an external growth strategy, through the acquisition of European companies, then became the TECHNIMA group. TECHNIMA now offers aerosol touch-up paints for decoration or for industry as well as technical aerosols for cleaning, lubricating or protecting parts for industrial or automotive equipment. The company also supports street-art artists with its brands LOOP and KOBRA. In 60 years, Technima has grown from a start-up specializing in wood varnishes and paints to a company that designs and produces marking paints, care and maintenance solutions and decorative products for artistic purposes. .
“Technima is the agility of an SME and the solidity of an international group with strong governance. As such, we aim to be the partner of choice for our customers, all over the world, with respect for simplicity, trust and satisfaction. » - Éric Piveteau, Technima Group Managing Director
