Performance 70 Sapa joinery participates in the renovation of a house from the 1980s

The building was built on one level and had the particularity of having four-sided roofs with a low height. The architect imagined a villa-patio, by designing four cubic extensions, making it possible to reach approximately 250 m2 of living space. He worked together with the manufacturer-installer DUTHOIT Menuiseries (Lesquin - 59) to dress these volumes and pierce the roofs with a multitude of Sapa openings. Sliding bays, entrance door, fixed windows, French-style..., the PERFORMANCE 70 range, wide and proven, is put forward but in XXL formats. These large dimensions, combined with reduced masses of aluminium, optimize light intake, and create an unchanging relationship between the interior spaces and the garden.

For Richard Claeyman, director of DUTHOIT Joiniseries: “This renovation project required a lot of know-how. Beyond the "oversize" formats, it was necessary to demonstrate technicality, for example by integrating a connected system with fingerprint recognition on the GTI+ high-traffic entrance door (L. 1,20 x H. 2,70 m). palmar. The double fixed frames at 45° angles, curtain wall solutions from the ELEGANCE 52 range, were also a real challenge. We carried out an edge-to-edge laying for maximum finesse and implemented tailor-made sleeves to guarantee maximum sealing. »

See larger than life

From the large living room/living room/kitchen, the three bedrooms, the bathroom or the entrance hall, the occupants enjoy wide views of the outside thanks to the PERFORMANCE 70 Sapa joinery:

• the sliding window on the swimming pool side is 7 m long (3 leaves) and 2,50 m high. This heavy duty version retains the original sleek aesthetics of PERFORMANCE 70 CL,
• two sliding doors, each 3,50 m long, provide access to the patio,
• a sliding window of 2,20 m at the level of the parental bedroom offers a cocooning and luminous bubble,
• two large fixed lights (L. 2 x H. 2,70 m), on either side of the entrance door, create a monumental reception hall,
• six OC+ windows with hidden openings bathe the four bedrooms and the bathroom in light.

These Sapa solutions are coated with a structured black 9005. This color contributes to the contemporary style of the project and harmonizes perfectly with the tiles and the structured black aluminum cladding. Protection from the sun's rays is provided by solar control glazing.

Sapa opens the virtual doors of this villa-patio thanks to its new digital showroom launched since the end of September.
