New collection "architectural looks": Technal enriches its exclusive colors®

This proximity has been illustrated over the years through a multitude of initiatives, from the creation of the Batimat stand entrusted to an architect since 1987 to the Aluminum Architecture Awards, through the launch of the “4114” community or the World competition. Architecture TECHNAL Awards. Anticipating trends, TECHNAL also collaborates with architectural and design agencies to imagine the colors of tomorrow. This approach began in 1991 with a grained gray developed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte.
A partnership that the brand continues today by enriching its “Exclusives®” colors, with different material effects, with a new “Regards d'Architectes” collection. It consists of two new shades: Bronze Lumière by Alain Moatti and Brun d'In-Ei by Kengo Kuma. These two renowned architects, respectively designers of the TECHNAL stands at Batimat in 2015 and 2017, had complete freedom of expression to create their color. Dressing all TECHNAL joineries, they broaden the choice of specifiers and individuals looking for a unique shade that will enhance their project.

Bronze light by Alain Moatti

“This timeless color tells the story of things, old objects, durability and attachment to old materials such as bronze or copper. ", explains Alain Moatti.

Light bronze is closely linked to the contemporary hue of the Eiffel Tower. Its glossy finish, with sophisticated elegance, captures the lights of morning and evening. It prints their reflections, their rhythms and their perspectives, giving a unique identity to the joinery. A luminous incandescence, a texture of energy, a silent vibration.

Brun In-Ei Kengo

“IN-EI means shadow in Japanese. This color is an ombre brown that plays on chiaroscuro. ", emphasizes KENGO KUMA.

It responds to the projects of the architect, who makes wood his material of choice. The objective was to obtain a shade which confers uniformity between all the elements of a facade. A neutral and dark shade that blends in with the exterior appearance of the glazing. Matte and lightly grained, Brun d'In-Ei blends with warm wood tones. Associated with aluminum, it offers a soft and powdery material, which catches the eye according to the orientations of the sun.
