The OPPBTP updates the Guide to health safety recommendations

This version takes into account the new company health protocol, published by the Ministry of Labor on February 26 and applicable since February 28, in accordance with the recommendations of the High Council for Public Health and the State.

The main modifications of the guide concern:

• Wearing a mask: As of February 28, 2022, the obligations to wear a mask are no longer applicable to people accessing establishments, places, services and events with a vaccination pass, including for professionals subject to a vaccination pass who carry out their activity there. Wearing a mask may however be made compulsory there by the prefect of the department when local circumstances justify it. Wearing a mask is maintained in transport - including when the vaccination pass applies - for long-distance travel by interregional transport.
• Contact cases: Since February 28, only one test has become necessary (self-test, PCR or antigen) two days after being declared a contact case, for vaccinated people. If the self-test is positive, an antigen test or PCR is necessary to confirm the result.
• Telecommuting, recommended since February 2. Employers set, within the framework of local social dialogue, the procedures for using telework, ensuring that links are maintained within the work collective and the prevention of risks linked to the isolation of employees in telework.
• Meetings by audio or videoconference remain to be preferred. When they are held face-to-face, participants must respect barrier gestures, in particular the wearing of a mask, the aeration/ventilation measures of the premises as well as the rules of distancing.
• Moments of conviviality bringing together in particular face-to-face employees in a professional setting can be organized in strict compliance with barrier gestures, in particular the wearing of a mask, aeration/ventilation measures and the rules of distancing.
• FFP2 masks are primarily reserved for medical professionals, including personnel in charge of screening. However, the HCSP specifies in its opinion of December 23, 2021, that wearing an FFP2 mask may be indicated for people at risk of severe forms of Covid-19 and who have failed vaccination for medical reasons, as long as they are able to support it for several hours and for daily use.
