In the Innovative Habitat Concept House category, Ariane Constructions (IGC Group, New Aquitaine) pocketed the gold medal with the "Green Home" concept: an island of nature in the heart of the city, an open-air house thanks to a huge glazed structure combined with a good level of comfort, summer and winter. In an emergency context of preservation of the environment and the well-being of future generations, Green Home is part of the zero waste approach, circular economy, production of drinking water and indoor air quality.
The Maisons France Confort Group won the Habitat Innovant Home Lab 'category with the "Concept Yrys", which explores the avenues of the house of tomorrow within the confines of its historic headquarters in Alençon. To meet the expectations of comfort and well-being, to adapt to new lifestyles, more than 70 innovations have been assembled in terms of scalability, accessibility and connectivity, light and health, positive energy, smart grid and carbon impact or even transport and industrialized construction.
In the Innovative Promoters Habitat category, Quartus is on the top step thanks to the “Second Element”: 178 homes and 5 shops at the heart of the Euromediterranean reconstruction program in Marseille. This achievement is based on a bioclimatic and reversible concept, on environmental performance (natural ventilation, sun protection, thalassothermy, etc.) and on the emergence of a living community, stimulated by a caretaker.
Maison Alpes Savoie conquers the Remarkable Builders category with the “Villa Alessandria”, in the middle of a vineyard facing Mont Blanc. This intergenerational house is based on five strong points: the involvement of the client couple; the architectural approach respecting the regional tradition (Architect of Buildings of France requires); the original design (glass floor, stamped facade, etc.); technical innovations (solar thermal hot water tank, modular canopy C02 detector, etc.); the environmental approach (drainage concrete roads, recycling rainwater, etc.).
In the Outstanding Promoters Achievements category, Sopri is harvesting gold with the “Ecrin du Parc” in Serre Chevallier, a chalet with eight high-end apartments, spacious duplexes with exposed timbers. The design meets the needs of traditional architecture, which fits into the mountain panorama of the Alps without distorting the site. Built on a sloping site, the chalet also includes a panoramic sauna and an outdoor wooden spa to enjoy the exceptional view of the valley.
Maison Barruet won the Renovation, Extension, Extension category thanks to the “Maison Bonheur”, located on the edge of the Orléans forest. The constructor's know-how and creativity made it possible to meet the requirements of the client family, very attached to its heritage and its geographical location. She dreamed of renovating and enlarging her aging house for more comfort, more space and more conviviality. Mission successful!
Finally, in the First House category, Maison à Vivre leaves Athens with the gold medal for "Home Sweet Home", a house that is gentle on the planet and which has an Energy 3 and Carbon 2 performance as part of the experiment. Covering an area of 85 m2 on a compact plot of 403 m2 (Loir-et-Cher), it favors traditional materials, in particular with hollow concrete blocks, an industrial frame with lost roof space, a roof in mechanical tiles, insulation in glass wool and PVC-ALU joinery.
